Packages with grandstand tickets

This is where most people start. It’s for fans who want to watch the race from the grandstands. If you’re not sure which one to pick, here’s what I’d tell friends and family: Marina is usually the best value, and the view’s still great.

For overtakes and close racing, go for West, South or North.  If you’d rather have views of the start, pit stops, and finish pick the Main Grandstand.

Yas Marina categorises seats as standard or premium. If premium seats are still available, we’ll include them in the price. If they’ve sold out, don’t worry all the seats are genuinely very good.

Epic Grand Prix

Packages with W Hotel hospitality

There’s no shortage of hospitality options at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix—and to be honest, it can get overwhelming. That’s why I recommend the W Abu Dhabi Yas Hotel. It has great views over the marina, and you’re just a few metres from the cars as they pass by.

I also know the team behind it personally. They’ve been organising Grand Prix hospitality for years, including at places like Monaco and Silverstone, so you know you’re in experienced hands.

Epic Grand Prix

Packages with extras like track tours & paddock tours

These packages include race tickets with added perks like grid walks, a guided tour of the exclusive F1 Paddock, a pro photo with the Formula 1 World Championship™ trophy, and a chance to hear from F1’s biggest names—current drivers, legendary pros, and team execs and hospitality access too.

For years, extras like these were out of reach for most Formula One fans. I include this option because for many, it’s an affordable way to get a bit closer to the action. It’s a great way to experience F1 and take your Grand Prix weekend up a level.

Spectacular Grand Prix

Packages with Yas Suite hospitality

These ticket and travel packages include an upgraded grandstand experience, with great seats in the West or North Grandstands and a simple hospitality setup. I always compare it to premium economy on a flight—you get a bit more comfort and convenience, but without the business class price tag.

These packages have had great feedback over the years. You’ll have access to an air-conditioned suite at the rear of the grandstand, with direct access to your seat.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix FAQ's

Tickets for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix typically become available shortly after the previous year’s Grand Prix has taken place. This is often when early bird pricing is released, so it’s a good time to start planning if you want the best choice of seats.

Flights are generally released around 50 weeks before travel. This can vary slightly depending on the airline. Booking flights early usually gives you more flexibility on timings and routing.

Many hotels in Abu Dhabi can be booked more than a year in advance. Popular hotels and locations tend to fill first once Grand Prix dates are confirmed, so early booking helps with availability.

Ticket prices vary depending on the grandstand and the view. Early bird tickets typically start at around £400 for seats in the Marina, South, or North Grandstands. Prices increase for premium locations, such as the Main Grandstand on the start straight, where tickets can exceed £700.

For a complete Abu Dhabi Grand Prix experience, we recommend allowing four days, from Thursday to Sunday. This covers practice sessions, qualifying, and the race itself. If time is limited and you’re mainly interested in the Grand Prix, attending on Sunday alone is still perfectly viable.

What is the weather like at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix? The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place in late November to early December. Conditions are usually mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures ranging from the mid-20s to low-30s Celsius. Humidity is generally low, and rain is uncommon.

Yes. Every year we help people plan Abu Dhabi Grand Prix trips as gifts. Many of them are not Formula 1 fans themselves. If you’re buying for someone else, we can guide you through the process and explain the options in simple terms.

Yes. We are a fully licensed travel agency and tour operator. All trips are financially protected under the ATOL protection scheme and insured by the Travel Trust Association. You can book knowing every part of your trip is protected.

The Yas Marina Circuit is easy to reach during Grand Prix weekend.

There are several transport options available, including taxis, ridesharing services, and organised transport. We explain these in more detail in our guide to getting around during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Additional Information

Accommodation

Our preferred hotels in Abu Dhabi include the Aloft Abu Dhabi (four-star), Pearl Rotana Capital Centre (four-star), Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan (four-star), Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi (four-star), Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana (four-star), Millennium Al Rawdah (five-star), Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi (five-star), Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi (five-star luxury), and Fairmont Bab Al Bahr (five-star), all located approximately a 20-minute drive from Yas Marina Circuit.

If you would prefer to stay on Yas Island the W Abu Dhabi Yas Hotel, Yas Plaza Mangroves, Crowne Plaza Yas Island and Yas Plaza Marina are all only a short walk from the circuit.

If you have an alternative hotel in mind, please let us know and we can provide a tailor-made quotation.

Adding extra nights in Abu Dhabi or Dubai

We can tailor-make your trip to include additional nights in Abu Dhabi either before or after the Grand Prix weekend. Hotel rates range from around £75 to £150 per person per night, depending on your choice of hotel.

Just let us know how many nights you’d like to stay either before or after the Grand Prix weekend, and we can calculate the additional cost for you.

Solo travellers & single room occupancy

If you’re traveling alone or require single occupancy rooms, you’ll need to factor this in. Single occupancy supplements will be determined by your choice of hotel and the duration of your trip.

Circuit transfers

We don’t include circuit transfers in our Abu Dhabi Grand Prix packages—and here’s why.

If you stay in one of the recommended hotels about 20 minutes from Yas Marina, you can take a taxi or a ride-share (like Uber or Careem) to and from the circuit. It’s flexible, good value, and lets you travel on your own schedule. Getting there is easy—the hotel doorman can call a taxi, and it usually turns up in a few minutes.

If you find yourself struggling to get a taxi or ride-share after the race, you can always walk over to one of the hotels on Yas Plaza. Grab a drink by the pool or sit down for dinner at one of the restaurants. By the time you’re done, the crowds will have thinned out and it’s usually easy to get a taxi from outside the hotel.

Some hotels have their own vehicles for circuit transfers if you’d rather not use taxis or ride-shares. But during the Grand Prix weekend, these are charged by the day—not the hour. Over three days, it can get expensive and you might be better off staying at a Yas Plaza hotel just over the road from the circuit.

You might see packages that include shared coach transfers. But there are a few things to keep in mind. Most are based in Dubai, not Abu Dhabi. That means a 60 to 90-minute ride each way. Some coaches also stop at several hotels, so it could take a while before you even leave Dubai. On the way back, you’ll have to wait for everyone to return before the coach can leave. And you lose all flexibility—these trips run on fixed schedules. They leave early and return late, so expect long days.

If you really want to compare this option, we work with a couple of trusted operators who run this kind of trip and can get you a price.

Finally, some Dubai hotels offer chauffeur-driven transfers to Abu Dhabi. If you’re only going to the circuit on race day, this can be a good option, but if you’re going all three days, the return trip each day will start to feel long. In that case, staying in Abu Dhabi is probably the better choice.

Flights to and from Abu Dhabi & Dubai

Our Abu Dhabi Grand Prix travel packages are based on economy class flights from the United Kingdom to and from the UAE. If you’re traveling from elsewhere in the world, please let us know, and we can provide you with a tailor-made quotation.

Prices are based on direct flights from UK airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh & Glasgow.

Typical flight times are seven hours from the UK to Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

We can also provide tailored quotes for upgrading from economy class to premium economy, business, or first class. You can expect to pay an additional £2,000 to £4,000 per person for business class flights.

The only way to secure your trip and lock in the price quoted is to make a confirmed booking. Flights and accommodation and tickets are priced on live availability and may change without notice until secured. It is not uncommon for prices to increase in line with availability and exchange rates so all trips will be repriced at the time of booking.
